tracking exchange traded funds (ETF) worldwide. The new service aims to improve transparency in the fast growing ETF market.
Markit ETF Services will provide investors with a comprehensive view of the global ETF market for the first time, aggregating a wealth of crucial information including details of ETF providers, daily portfolio composition, net asset value, assets under management and dividend forecasts. The services will normalise terminology to allow ETF investors to make meaningful comparisons.

Our new services will allow investors to gain at-a-glance insight into the ETF products available today which will support the development of this fast-growing, innovative market.”
Markit ETF Services is comprised of three data sets: Markit ETF Encyclopaedia, Markit ETF Trade Data and Markit ETF Dividends.
