J.P. Morgan Macro Hedge Dual TR Source ETF tracks the J.P. Morgan Macro Hedge Dual TR Index (‘Macro Hedge Dual’) and offers European investors a cost-effective exposure to both US and European volatility in a single product. Launched on 2nd April 2012, the fund has already seen strong inflows, taking its AuM to €83 million.
Ted Hood, CEO of Source, said: “Volatility products continue to see strong interest in Europe. The new USD listing allows investors to gain a dynamic exposure to both US and European volatility via the J.P. Morgan Macro Hedge Dual strategy, while giving them the flexibility to trade in EUR or USD.”
Macro Hedge Dual takes exposure to US equity volatility, switching from long to long/short exposure depending on market conditions, and adds up to 25% exposure to European equity volatility during market stress. By
combining US and European volatility exposure in a single product, it aims to offer some regional diversification without compromising on liquidity.
