With regards to the db x-trackers DJ STOXX® 600 Banks Short ETF (“the Fund”), following the lapse of the restrictions on short selling…

implemented by the FSA Short Selling (No.2) Instrument 2008, Deutsche Bank AG will resume making a market in the Fund on the London Stock Exchange with effect from Thursday 22 January 2009.

Deutsche Bank will also resume making a market on the Borsa Italia and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with effect from Thursday 22 January 2009.
