highlights of September were seen in the Shares incl. Funds + ETSFs segment, which recorded a 16.0% gain in turnover to CHF 72.2 billion, and the ETFs segment where turnover increased by 11.6% to CHF 5.1 billion. All of the key share indices closed out September 2010 on the upside: the blue chip SMI® index ended the month at 6,296.3 (1.9% higher than in the previous month), the SLI Swiss Leader Index® PR at 968.6 (+3.5%) and the broadly based SPI® at 5,594.6 (2.4%).
