ETF Securities, one of the world’s leading independent providers of exchange traded investment products, has signed a strategic partnership with Swissquote, Switzerland’s largest online bank. As part of the agreement, ETF Securities provides investors with detailed information on Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) and offers them the opportunity to trade its ETFs for a flat fee of CHF9 instead of the usual fee of up to CHF250 through the “ETF Leaders” section of the Swissquote website.
ETF Securities entered the Swiss market in September 2012 with a range of thematic Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. More recently, the company launched a broad range of 28 Swiss Franc Currency-Hedged Commodity Securities. The full product range is available on Swissquote’s platform, further reinforcing ETF Securities’ commitment to the Swiss market which has shown a growing interest for commodities.
Commenting on the partnership, Rima Haddad, Head of Switzerland & Middle East, ETF Securities, said:
