In addition, the selection criteria of the securities composing the two indices are now the following:
To be part of the « EuroMTS Highest rated Government All Maturity », a Eurozone member country must now have at least 2 ratings equivalent to AAA (from the rating agencies S&P, Moody’s and Fitch). In addition, the index must comprise a minimum of five issuers and where a credit rating downgrade for an eligible issuer would lead to the number of eligible issuers falling below the minimum, the issuer in question will remain in the index until a new issuer becomes eligible to replace it.
In the past, to be included in the « EuroMTS AAA Government » index, a Eurozone member country was required to have at least 3 ratings equivalent to AAA (from the rating agencies S&P, Moody’s and Fitch).
To be included in the “EuroMTS Lowest-Rated Investment Grade Government All-Maturity” index, a Eurozone member country must be rated Investment Grade with at least 2 ratings below AAA (from Fitch, S&P and Moody’s) and not be included in the « EuroMTS Highest-Rated Government All-Maturity » index.
In the past, to be part of the « EuroMTS ex AAA Government Investment Grade » Index, a Eurozone member country was required to have at least one rating below “AAA” or its equivalent from one of the rating agencies S&P, Moody’s and Fitch, and have at least two ratings Investment Grade from the same rating agencies.
The risk/return profile displayed in the Key Investors Information Document (« KIID ») has not been impacted by these modifications.
As of January 26, 2012, the funds’ names will change to stay in line with their respective benchmarks.
