Source sees increasing use of fixed income ETFs by institutional investors
Flows in Source’s ETP products in 2013 have not been restricted to broad equity benchmark indices but rather spanned the spectrum of asset classes. Fixed income alone accounted for EUR670m of 1Q 2013 NNA as investors showed renewed interest in emerging market local debt, short maturity high yield credit and short maturity MINT strategies. The sizeable share of assets flowing into fixed income ETPs has been a consistent trend in the European ETP market since 1Q 2012, according to data from Morningstar.
Gilles Boitel – Director
Gilles is responsible for coverage of institutional clients in Switzerland & Liechtenstein. Prior to joining Source, Gilles was a financial services research specialist at Accenture in Buenos Aires. Before moving to Argentina, Gilles worked at iShares where he was responsible for ETF distribution to private banks, wealth managers and family offices in Switzerland. He started his career covering private banks in Germany and Switzerland at BNP Paribas Investment Partners in Frankfurt. Gilles holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam (UvA).
Kate Dwyer – Director
Kate is responsible for coverage of institutional clients in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Prior to joining Source, Kate worked at Morgan Stanley for seven years where she was responsible for sales on the equity finance desk with a particular focus on securities lending and yield enhancement to accounts across the United Kingdom and Europe. Previously, Kate worked for BGC Cantor Fitzgerald and MSCI. Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Bio-organic Chemistry from the University of Stellenbosch and an Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.
