UBS Global Asset Management is listing an exchange traded fund (ETF) based on the MSCI Brazil on SIX Swiss Exchange.
The UBS-ETF MSCI Brazil allows the investors to participate in the economic development of Brazil, one of the fastest growing BRIC countries.
The UBS-ETF MSCI Brazil tracks the MSCI Brazil index and provides investors with the opportunity to invest in leading large and medium-sized companies from Brazil: The underlying index covers 78 large and mid-cap companies traded on the brazilian stock market and covers around 84% of the market capitalization in free float.
The importance of Brazil as investment opportunity is increasing: despite worldwide stock market turbulences the economic growth of Brazil is unstoppable. With the UBS-ETF MSCI Brazil, interested investors have a passive and diversified investment solution that easily and flexibly covers the leading companies of Brazil.
The fund currency of the new UBS-ETF MSCI Brazil is USD. There are two share classes available: the “A” share class is geared toward private clients, while the “I” share class addresses the needs of institutional investors and high net worth individuals. Trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange will be in CHF and USD for the A share class, and in USD for the I share class.
