FTSE Asian Sector Index Series – a comprehensive range of 18 pan-regional indices covering the Asian equity markets by sector and market capitalisation.
Based on the FTSE Asia Pacific Index universe, the new series draws from the large and mid cap companies in China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. The indices are based upon the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB), and provide a transparent and cost-efficient way in which to add or reduce exposure to specific sectors.
The series is designed to form the basis of structured products, index funds and ETFs.
