Name Changes resulting from UBS Replacement of AIG-FP in Benehmark Indices utilised by ETFS Commodity Securities Limited issued securities….
ETF Securities Limited (“ETF Securities”) recently announced changes to the ETFS Commodity Securities Limited (“CSL”) issued securities (“Commodity Securities”) which were backed by matching contracts from AIG Financial Products Corp. (“A1G-FP”).
AIG FP’s commodity index business was acquired by UBS AG (“UBS”) which resulted in name changes to the benchmark Indices managed by AIG FP and tracked by certain securities issued by CSL.
The relevant AIG FP Indices were rebranded from DJ-AIG-CI sm to DJ-UBS Cl sm. The index methodologles remain unchanged. In line with these name changes it was necessary to renarne 23 Commodity Securities as follows:
The effective date of these changes was 12 August 2009. The programme for the issuance of the Commodity Securities remain unchanged.
