HKEx’s ETF market has continued to grow and the number of ETFs increased to 30 as at the end of June 2009, with 6 new ETF listings in the second quarter of 2009.
Further, 5 additional ETFs covering stock markets in Hong Kong, India, Korea, Vietnam and the US were listed on 8 July 2009.
To promote greater transparency, HKEx has posted the market making obligations for individual ETFs on its website.
